Product Description Tom Randles A.K.A Uptown Player is a multi-instrumentalist. His CD’s feature outstanding work on guitar, keyboards, bass, and percussion. Tom Toured the midwest as a young man with various R&B bands. He also shared the stage with some of the music industry’s biggest names, including Maze, The Chi-Lites, Billy Preston and others. Tom Studied guitar at a conservatory of music in Northern Indiana when he was seven-years-old. He taught himself to play a variety of other instruments when he got to college. About the Artist Uptown Player is a unique artist. He’s one musician playing more than a half-dozen instruments recorded one track at a time. His name is T.J. Randles. Randles is not only a gifted musician, producer and recording engineer . . . he’s also an Emmy Award winning professional broadcaster. In March 1999, Randles received the prestigious Black Achievers In Industry Award. His musical influences are many. His style is innovative and captivating.
