Satyam Setty, the founder of shrinivas sugandhalaya started manufacturing agarbatti early in 1964. The beginning was modest and was almost a one man show. Manufacturing process started from own small residential premises in Bhatwadi, Ghatkopar, Mumbai. Being the emperor of masala incense (agarbatti) shri. Setty invented vide range of innovate products. The launching of “Satya sai baba nag champa agarbatti” created a revolution in the global market in late seventies. Nagchampa became extremely famous all over the world especially in us and Europe. It is considered to be the largest exported brand of incense sticks from India. Needless to say, the brand is still going strong in all the countries it is exported. Currently, it is being exported to more than 45 countries all over the world and new countries are being added frequently. Countries like japan, Yugoslavia etc. Have recently occupied berth in the directory of the associates.
