1987 U.S. Mint Set Note: 1987 half dollars were never released into circulation. This Mint Set is the only way to obtain 1987 Half Dollars. Single envelope set containing 10 uncirculated coins packaged by the U.S. Mint plus the P & D Medallion. Set includes a complete set of all 1987 coins issued from the Philadelphia Mint («P» mint mark) and Denver Mint («D» mint mark). The Quality of the coins in the mint sets are higher than coins put out for circulation.
