As the successor of the Zero war, the 17th Sampler fighter aircraft (later trial wind, named) was submitted by the Navy in 197. Due to the lack of choice of a generator against overwhelming performance requirements, the design was made to be a wreck and the production and modification of the current Zero Battle/ Lightning Electric model, so the prototype No. 1 is completed in April 19. The first flight is highly regarded for both maneuverability and flight stability, but the speed and rise performance of the launcher is far away from the required value and will continue to be modified until the end of the war.
