The Home Master Jr. F2 Elite Sinktop Water Filtration System delivers exceptional water purity with its advanced five-stage filter, which removes up to 93 percent of dirt and rust; soluble metals like fluoride, arsenic, lead, iron, mercury, copper, and aluminum; chemicals like chloramines, chlorine, VOCs, THMs, and many pharmaceuticals (microcontaminants) that create foul tastes and odors in your tap water. (Note that dissolved solids like calcium and magnesium minerals are not removed.) The Home Master Jr. F2 Elite uses its powerful catalytic carbon filtration media to treat the very persistent chemical disinfectant chloramine. Ordinary carbon filters are unable to effectively remove this stubborn contaminant that is now being deployed nationwide to replace chlorine. That’s why the Home Master Jr. F2 Elite uses the more advanced carbon media known as catalytic carbon. What separates the Home Master Jr F2 Elite from the competition is its granular filters? Many granular filters suffer from a condition where the water bypasses the filtration media completely. A fully channeled and bypassed filter will look like the inside of an anthill, and a substantial amount of the water will pass through it unfiltered. The Home Master Jr. F2 Elite solves this problem by using compression disks, filling the filter cartridge completely, then installs compression disks at the inlet, outlet and between layers to ensure even filtration. This package contains a fully assembled Tap Master Jr. F2 Elite with filter, sink faucet diverter valve, additional 15/16 x 13/16 faucet adapter, flexible connection tubing, long-reach chrome faucet, and instructions. Operating conditions: pH <7.5; feed water PSI 20 – 90 PSI; water temp 40 to 100 degrees F; 2000 ppm maximum total dissolved solids.
